Our Services
At Ryevale Montessori & Daycare we offer a wide range of services including: full-time, part-time and sessional care.

Our classes are divided into three groups: toddlers, preschool and after-school.
Toddler
Ryevale Montessori & Day Care Toddler room caters for children 2 years 5 months upwards. We provide a homely caring environment, where friendships are developed and children learn new skills of sharing and taking turn with the support of their key workers.
The class environment offers new learning experiences through creative play, role play, construction corner, tabletop activities a variety of sensory play, home corner, storytelling & rhyme, art & craft and outdoor play.
ECCE Preschool
The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme provides 2 free years of early childhood care and education for children of pre-school age.
The curriculum for learning and development in the setting is play based with Montessori elements which is informed by Aistear, the National Curriculum Framework and Siolta the National Quality Framework.
Our pre-school program follows the children's emergent interests, and it provides the children with opportunities to develop through a variety of play activities for fine & gross motor skills i.e. jigsaws, eye and hand co-ordination activities, play dough, sand, water play, dress up, home corner, cooking, painting, arts and craft activities, songs, rhymes and plenty of outdoor play.
Through play children develop their social, personal, and cognitive skills, it is the bridge to friendship and preparing the children for primary school.
Afterschool
Ryevale Montessori & Day Care provides drop off and pick up from Scoil Chearbhaill Ui Dhalaigh and pick up from the Leixlip Educate together school during term time and full day care service during mid-terms and summer holidays.

Breakfast and freshly made dinners are provided daily.

During the afternoon session children have a period to complete their written homework, the after school leader will support children who need assistance with their work.
The tables, spelling and reading is completed at home with parents, so parents are in tune with their children's education.

Following homework our children like to choose their own activities. We have a variety of games and art materials available, but the children mostly enjoy playing outdoors.
